A Slice of Delight - is the name of my home based glycerin soap crafting company. In April of 2009, I became an accidental entrepreneur and took the opportunity to transition out of my high technology profession after 25 years for a chance to unleash my creative juices to nurture and grow - A Slice of Delight. My glycerin soaps are made to brighten your day, ruffle your senses and be fun to use.
All my soaps are made in small batches by me that I design, create, and package myself. Allow me to share a few important aspects of my soaps:
ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING ------> Soaps are packaged in cello sheets or bags,-certified biodegradable and compostable. The ingredient tag and raphia tie can be recycled.
PRODUCT INGREDIENTS -------> Product ingredients come from reputable soaping industry suppliers. The soap base supplier is located in Concord. I use only all natural soap bases which are vegan friendly. The soap colorant supplier is located in Oakland and one fragrance supplier is located in Berkeley. So I'm very proud of doing my best to support locally owned businesses. And when I can I bike to two of the suppliers to pick up my purchases.
LOCAL DELIVERY ------> My goal is to deliver locally by bicycle to save you on shipping charges. When you purchase on-line, and it is feasible to deliver by bike, you will be refunded the shipping charges after the transaction is completed. Other options are to contact me directly to discuss reserve listings on the website so shipping charges can be removed upfront.
