Monthly Mixers Each month we host a “get together” in a different shopping district of Berkeley.  Attendees get light eats and drinks. A sneak peak of the next big promotional effort. A chance to meet other local business owners

Steering Committee Meetings Once a month an active Steering Committee meets at a local restaurant to set the general direction of the organization and the campaign.  We make sure the meetings are fast paced, interesting and action oriented.  Join us for the next one to help shape this movement!

UCB Vendor Diversity Fair Wednesday, October 15, 10-2, at MLK Student Union, on the UCB campus.

Buy Local Week – December 1-6, 2008

Special Promotions Look for special deals all week long at your favorite locally owned, independent businesses.  There will also be music, art, wine tasting, children’s events, and the like.  More details to follow!

Win Prizes! Each time you buy from a participating Buy Local Berkeley business, you will earn a raffle ticket. The donated raffle prizes will represent the best of Berkeley’s local independents!  Look for our ads in the Daily Californian and the East Bay Express, our two independent media partners
